At least four more patients have died from COVID-19 in Washington state, bringing the total number of deaths in the U.S. to at least six.
Washington state currently has at least 18 cases, 14 of which are in King County and four in Snohomish County, officials said.

On Saturday, local health officials said about 50 residents and employees of a nursing care facility outside of Seattle were ill with “respiratory symptoms or hospitalized with pneumonia or other respiratory conditions of unknown cause”  (это тот дом престрелых, откуда недавних 2 случая короновирусной пневмонии были)... at least three residents of Life Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Kirkland, Washington, were among the deceased.The virus has also spread to a woman in her 40s who works at the facility and is currently in the hospital, officials said.

Previously announced male in his 40s hospitalized at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland has died. The patient was a Snohomish County resident. No additional details are available at this time.

The state’s public health laboratory has the capacity to test about 200 specimens a day and the University of Washington will start testing for COVID-19 on Monday or Tues. ..the cases they are identifying now are seriously ill patients. They aren’t testing anyone with mild symptoms yet, he said

Seattle-area officials are setting up a coronavirus hotline and looking to buy a motel to convert into a quarantine facility. They are also placing modular housing previously used for oil workers in Texas at several locations around the area that can accommodate at least 100 people, they said.

Santa Clara County has two new confirmed cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as the novel coronavirus, bringing the county's total to nine, the county Public Health Department said Monday morning. The new cases are two men —  a household contacts of a confirmed cases.

A presumptive positive case of coronavirus of unknown origin has been reported in San Mateo County, public health officials said on Monday. The patient, who had no known exposure to the virus through travel or through contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, has been hospitalized and is in isolation.

Boston Massachusetts Health officials have announced coronavirus case in Massachusetts. The woman, in her 20s, lives in Norfolk County and recently traveled to Italy with a school group. She is recovering at home. The specimens will be sent to the CDC. If confirmed, this would be the second confirmed positive case in Massachusetts

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center CEO and President Dr. Joanne M. Conroy said the person with a presumptive positive case of coronavirus in New Hampshire is an employee of the medical center.
A hospital employee who recently traveled to Italy is the first person in New Hampshire to test positive for the new coronavirus, state officials said Monday. The male patient is experiencing mild symptoms and remains at home in Grafton County while health officials investigate

Rhode Island public health officials say they've identified the state's first and second presumptive positive cases of the coronavirus. The Rhode Island Department of Health announced Sunday that an unidentified man in his 40s  (DOH reports he is currently being treated at an area hospital), and a teenager who both had traveled to Europe in mid-February tested positive for the virus. The man's test result was announced Sunday afternoon, and the teenager's result was disclosed later in the day.

San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg declared a local public health emergency Monday following the CDC release of a woman from quarantine at Lackland Air Force Base who later tested positive for the coronavirus. ..a patient who was mistakenly released from the Texas Center for Infectious Disease facility spent two hours at a mall after she was let go.and spent most of that time sitting at the food court by herself. Officials add she also went to a local hotel.

Florida’s first two cases of the COVID-19, are a 20-year-old woman in Hillsborough County who is isolated and receiving treatment at home, and a man in his 60s in Manatee County who has been hospitalized with symptoms of pneumonia. The woman recently had returned from northern Italy, the site of an outbreak, but Florida Surgeon General Scott Rivkees said doctors are still unsure how the man contracted the virus.

A fourth person has tested positive for coronavirus in Illinoisю The fourth infected person is a woman in her 70s, and is the spouse of the third case — a man in his 70s — who is hospitalized in isolation, state health officials announced. Both patients tested positive in state health laboratories over the weekend. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed the positive results midday Monday...Pritzker said.. he plans warn the state’s largest insurance companies against price gouging and unfair coverage practices when it comes to testing and caring for coronavirus patients.
